From 2021 to 2024, O Novo Mercado solidified its position as the largest digital marketing school in Brazil and is now entering a new phase of expansion. With significant growth, the company is exploring new platforms powered by artificial intelligence through OmnIA, while also diversifying its content formats. The challenge now is to maintain quality and relevance in an increasingly competitive digital market.
At the same time, DM Legal Firm has strengthened its role as a strategic partner for O Novo Mercado and all its affiliated companies, providing comprehensive legal support. We handle administrative legal matters, representation in court, and, more recently, the company's international expansion project, ensuring that each step of this growth is carried out with legal security and a solid structure.
O Novo Mercado continued its rapid growth in 2019, and this was also the year that DM Legal Firm began providing legal services to the company. At the request of Ícaro de Carvalho, our firm drafted the brand's first contracts, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership. That same year, Jonatas Figueiredo joined the team, now serving as CEO.
In 2020, the pandemic brought challenges but also accelerated the company's growth. With the increased demand for online education, O Novo Mercado reached 30,000 monthly clients, requiring a fast adaptation with new class formats, enhanced support, and a strong focus on practical execution for students.
During this transition, DM Legal Firm played a key role in providing legal support, assisting in the hiring of both CLT (formal employment) and PJ (independent contractors) professionals, as well as structuring the company legally through strategic consulting. The growth was impressive but always backed by legal security and solidity, ensuring the brand stayed on its path to success.
In 2018, O Novo Mercado experienced exponential growth, driven by the impact of Ícaro de Carvalho’s content on Instagram. Mentions by Lara Nesteruk, Ítalo Marsili, and Carol Cantelli, combined with his famous Q&A boxes, expanded the brand’s reach and strengthened its community. With more than 2,000 students and a constantly growing base, Ícaro and O Novo Mercado established themselves as one of the leading players in the digital market.
In 2017, Ícaro de Carvalho continued producing content from his home, now with a growing audience. His Wednesday classes already gathered a hundred loyal customers. At that time, the company was still just him and his early journey partner, Eduardo Costa.
In 2016, O Novo Mercado was born—a project that started in a simple way but with a grand vision. From his home, Ícaro de Carvalho began his journey by sharing knowledge, hosting a weekly class on digital marketing and the infoproduct market, also known as the digital market.
